Abstract

We report an unusual presentation of acute pancreatitis as a tender, irreducible, inguinoscrotal swelling mimicking a strangulated hernia. Lack of abdominal symptoms or signs can lead to misdiagnosis and unnecessary surgery. © 2006 Springer Science+Business Media, LLC.
