Abstract

The article presents a teaching brief that analyzes the potential benefits of using the Tablet personal computer (PC) for instructors. The brief examines the unique features of Tablet PCs that make it suitable for instructors. The brief also examines some of the applications of the Tablet PC that can be used for distance learning. The assessments relating to the ability of the various factors of the Tablet form for different academic tasks are also presented in a table.
