Abstract

The article comments on the trends in consulting relevant to the client-consultant relationship. Apparently, formalized procurement processes have increasingly kept clients and consultants closer, with three-quarters of large-scale organizations monitoring how much they spend on consultants centrally, with two-thirds preferring supplier lists and more than halft have framework agreements with a small number of key consulting firms.
