Abstract

The Post-Industrial Revolution period was labeled by a profound reference to work, in social structure as well as on the construction of modern individuals. With the crisis of the work centered society, some values and categories are rescued and demand a new characterization. The domain of work on the construction of social structure is then questioned and new ideas are born that bring free time, leisure and relaxation as roles on the structural elements of a new social context. Before positioning ourselves about this domain passage, this study discuss and reflects upon such categories, opening a clear possibility of its territorialization on the field of social sciences, and in a special way, on its contribution to a new form of subjective production.
