Abstract

The article discusses how resilient and adaptable leaders crafted effective responses to the challenges faced by the government of Great Britain from 2001 to 2005. Topics covered include governance breakdowns, disconnected managerial processes, and poor internal officer/councilor relationships as challenging aspects for improvement, progress and recovery. Also mentioned is the importance of the leader's visibility and high pressure.
