This paper describes the Decision-Making Trial andEvaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) method and itsapplicability in the field of management. DEMATELapplies matrices and digraphs for visualizing thestructure of complicated causal relationships. Thistechnique can be used to generate a strategy map,representing organizational strategy and showingcausal relations between causes and their effects.DEMATEL can suggest the most important criterion,which affects other criteria.
