Abstract

Samples of a rice soil from Mohanpur were incubated under conditions of 60% water-holding capacity, saturation or waterlogging with addition of 0, 1 or 2% dried FYM. The decrease in redox potential during 40 days was greatest under waterlogging. Extractable Fe and Mn increased almost throughout incubation. Available N content showed an increase under waterlogging. The effects of OM were small.
