Abstract

The effects of freezing,fixation and preservation in 70% ethanol or 10% formalin for periods up to 46 months on body morphometry of Loligo sanpaulensis Brakoniecki, 1984, were investigated. Significant morphometric changes were observed, mainly between previously frozen and non-frozen specimens.
