Abstract

Given the growth of agent-based models and technologies in the last decade, nowadays the applicability of agent-oriented techniques to the engineering of complex systems such as pervasive computing ones critically depends on the availability and effectiveness of agent-oriented methodologies. Accordingly, in this paper we take SAPERE pervasive service ecosystems as a reference, and introduce a novel agent-oriented approach aimed at engineering SAPERE systems as multi-agent systems. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
