Abstract

The article presents various leadership attributes required in senior managers to sustain during the recession. It stresses that leaders should be inspirational to motivate employees and states that the actions, and words of leaders should be consistent. It mentions that inspirational leaders are reliable and are well-positioned in the flow of the corporate culture and lists several other important attributes which include optimism, self-awareness, and self-focus.
