Abstract

An essay is presented on liberal capitalism. It offers a history of the struggle between liberal capitalism and competing ideologies, and examines the statistical proof of happiness. The author explains that a balanced consideration based on personal experience, common sense and empirical observation leads to the conclusion that liberal capitalism provides for a greater human happiness than its alternatives.
