Abstract

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is presented and applied to Abraham Maslow's life using psychobiography/case study methods. The theory's clinical and practical utility is discussed along with the lack of empirical support and the unique challenges inherent in testing Maslow's theory of motivation.
