Abstract

The energy sources of interest in the frame of the project Metrology for Energy Harvesting are the wasted sources of ambient energy resulting from human activity and environmental energy flows in the form of waste heat, movement and vibration. This project aims to fill research and engineering gaps identified by industry, and it will stimulate increased collaboration between industry and the European research community. An overview of the technical work packages is given as well as a description of the procedure of developing reference materials for Seebeck coefficients at PTB. © 2012 American Institute of Physics.
