Abstract

The article discusses the concept of business strategy by organization researcher Henry Mintzberg. The different kinds of strategy development according to Mintzberg include the planning model, entrepreneurial-type vision model and the learning-by-experience model. Mintzberg belongs to a group that reacted against the way the planning technocracy claimed the exclusive right to formulate strategic issues.
