This text is the English translation of an interview conducted in Inuktitut by a younger Inuit, Paul Irngaut, with an experienced Inuit elder, Aipilik Inuksuk, on the topic of sea ice. Inuksuk describes his knowledge of sea ice while remembering his own experiences.
