The performance of government in energy regulations.

Abstract

Five major areas of US government intervention in the energy sector over the past half-century are briefly reviewed. It is concluded that more intervention will not necessarily bring about improved resource allocation and an alternative would be to let the market allocate scarce resources.-J.Johnson
