Síntesis y funcionalización de nanotubos de carbono y silicato.

Abstract

Multiwall carbon nanotubes have been synthesized by means of catalytical\nchemical deposition of ethylene by using different catalysts, in order to generate\nnanotubes with different diameters and structural regularities. The nanotubes\nwere functionalized with the objective of introduce hydroxy groups in its surface.\nIn this work we also synthesized silica nanotubes by sol-gel method, by using dl\ntartaric acid as template and TEOS as the silica source. The materials have been\ncharacterized by TGA, TEM, FTIR, adsorcion-desorption of nitrogen and XRD.\nThe carbon nanotubes synthesized on mesoporous supports present a better\nstructural regularity and lower average diameter that those materials\nsynthesized on CaCO3.
