Abstract

Male genitalia of the species Cerynia lineola Melichar is described and illustrated for the first time from China. Colour polymorphism in a planthopper species Cerynia maria (White, 1846) is investigated based on some specimens from China, and a map showing the geographic distribution of this species is also provided. The examined specimens are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, China (GUGC). © Weicheng Yang, Xiangsheng Chen.
