Taxonomic study on two Chinese species of the genus Cerynia (Hemiptera, Fulgoromorpha, Flatidae)

Abstract

Male genitalia of the species Cerynia lineola Melichar is described and illustrated for the first time from China. Colour polymorphism in a planthopper species Cerynia maria (White, 1846) is investigated based on some specimens from China, and a map showing the geographic distribution of this species is also provided.
