Abstract

The ideal support technology for strategic thinking embodies proven concepts, principles, methods, and tools from the 100-200 new management books published each day, as well as previously published books and articles. It also embodies a wealth of case studies drawn from a wide range of domains and economic conditions. Examples of tools that provide such support include Business Insight, which is based on the collected wisdom of several contemporary strategy experts, and the Situation Assessment Advisor, which provides advice gleaned from experiences of well over 100 companies over the past 200 years.
