Abstract
A hanging construction by Claes Oldenburg, made of metal wire covered with newspapers was damaged when it fell. The paper, which was brittle from age, tore. Since it was not possible to stabilize the paper cover from the interior, the fractures were closed by applying a hot melting glue with an electrically heated instrument. The glue hardens two minutes after application. For a complete connection, a polyvinyl acetate glue was used. LB - G1 LB - Paper, books, and library and archival materials
