Abstract
A Classification of injuries producing "Mallet deformity" is given: -. Laceration. Mallet finger with tendon rupture. Baseball finger with fracture. Crushing injuries. The anatomical and etiological background of the conditions is discussed and the differences of treatment outlined. A simple polythene splint is described and some indications for operation discussed. © 1969.
