Abstract

A new species of Bolitoglossa previously referred to B. striatula (NOBLE 1918), Bolitoglossa mombachoensis n. sp., is described from Volcan Mombacho, Departamento de Granada, Nicaragua. The new species differs from B. striatula in relative head width and relative vomerine tooth numbers, as well as in coloration.
