Abstract

A Kramers-Kronig transform of multiphoton ionization rates allows for a computation of the spectrally dependent nonlinear refractive index change and predicts its intensity dependent saturation and inversion in remarkable agreement with recent experimental results. © 2011 Optical Society of America.
