Abstract

Assesses the Agricultural Land Reserve and the Agricultural Land Commission of British Columbia. Historical trends in urban planning around Vancouver; Attempt to show how the search for a rational, state-assisted model of growth slowly extended to include the whole of the province's agricultural landscape.
