Abstract

Over the past 45 years, vitreoretinal surgery has evolved considerably. Today, retinal surgeons have access to a wide variety of instruments for micro-incision vitrectomy surgery, which will result in more comfortable, safer, and efficacious surgery. We aim to expose some of the most relevant innovations for vitreoretinal surgery.
