Abstract

In the last decades, even with regard to MS, rating scales have become essential tools both for assessing disability progression in clinical practice and as primary or secondary outcomes in clinical trials. Several attempts have been made to create clinical scales which are able to assess the impact of MS on patients; the most of clinicians and researchers have considered disability as the fundamental aspect to evaluate.
