Studi Analisa Kinerja Transformator Pemakaian Sendiri PT. PLN (Persero) Sektor Bukittinggi PLTA Batang Agam Dengan Menggunakan ESA

Abstract

Distribution transformer is an important equipment in Batang Agam Hydropower because it serves to transform electrical energy such as decreases the voltage of 20 kV to 400 V. Based on the results of 6 times measurement made on a transformer with ESA by its power 125 kVA obtained percentage 14,122% of loading, and percentage of unbalance loads reach 40,792%. The loading which is high, impact on the quality and the life time of the transformer. Similarly, the magnitude of the unbalance loads also influence on the magnitude of the currents flowing in the neutral and ground conductor of the transformer. The purpose of this final report is to know the performance of transformer based on load, unbalance load, the neutral current, harmonic distortion, efficiency and life time on five transformers as well as proposed steps to the performance of a transformer repair good
