Children diagnosed with cerebral palsy benefit from therapy services which are provided in a clinical- or hospital-based outpatient setting during various stages of development and as needs arise. Outpatient therapy is provided for patients who are stable enough to leave home and travel to a therapy center. The priorities for physical, occupational, speech/language, and feeding therapy may vary based on the child’s age, stage of development, and medical needs.
