Writing skill is a difficult skill to be mastered by students, especially elementary school students. In its implementation, there are still some obstacles, one of which is that there are some students who feel bored and bored during learning. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not the use oflearning models and media was effective in improving students' writing skills. The research method used is a literature study which produces descriptive data regarding the effectiveness of using methodsand models for learning writing skills. The results showed thatthe variousmodelsand media thatwere applied in learning writing skills had positive responses and significant changes that made students interested and motivated to take part in learning, this shows that the use of these learning models and media works effectively in an effort to improve students' writing skills.
