In this paper, we present a quantum anonymous voting protocol where the voting information is encoded in a traveling single d-level particle. Specifically, we take advantage of a cyclic property of a set of mutually unbiased bases and store the vote information by two types of unitary operations. Compared with existing work, our protocol is based on a single quantum d-level state instead of multi-particle entangled states, thus it is easier to implement. Furthermore, we also show that the proposed scheme satisfies most of core requirements and some additional requirements.
