Abstract

Changes in grip strength following section of the transverse carpal ligament (TCL)for carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS)have been evaluated in several experimental and clinical studies because return to working activities is strictly related to postoperative weakening and timing of grip strength recovery.Even endoscopic techniques have been developed to obtain a more rapid recovery of grip strength and a quick return to work. © 2007 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
