Abstract

In this paper we present a conceptual model and an implementation of a mobile augmented reality (AR) application to support therapeutic sessions for children and adolescents with mental health disorders. In this work, we discuss the importance of having adequate tools so that parents, teachers and therapists may define personalized gamified experiences using AR according to the specific needs of each child. We described the proposed model and an implementation based on Unity AR Foundation and Google Cloud Anchors.
