Abstract

This note presents a new version of the language of epistemic specifications. The semantics of the new language is arguably closer to the intuitive meaning of epistemic operators. It eliminates some unintended interpretations which exist under the old definition. The author hopes that the new language will be better suited for the design of intelligent agents capable of introspective reasoning with incomplete information. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
