Abstract

Abstrak. Literasi matematis siswa Indonesia pada konten quantity berada pada level 1-2. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi matematis berorientasi PISA konten quantity pada siswa kelas VIII. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan subjek 32 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri di Banyudono. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan literasi matematis dalam merumuskan situasi secara matematis memiliki rata-rata persentase sebesar 88,83% yang tergolong tinggi; kemampuan literasi matematis dalam menalar memiliki rata-rata persentase sebesar 53,33% yang tergolong sedang; kemampuan literasi matematis dalam memecahkan masalah memiliki rata-rata persentase sebesar 7,13% yang tergolong sangat rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut diharapkan guru dapat menyisipkan soal-soal PISA pada pembelajaran, yang bertujuan agar siswa terbiasa dalam menyelesaikan dan memahami soal-soal tersebut. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan literasi matematis, PISA konten quantity. Abstract. The mathematical literacy of Indonesian students on content quantity is still low at level 1-2. The aim of this study was to describe the ability of mathematical literacy by PISA oriented about content quantity in students in 8 th grades. This research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach with the subject of 32 students of 8 th grade State Junior High School in Banyudono. Data collection techniques consist of the test, interview, and documentation. The result showed that mathematical literacy in formulating mathematical situations has an average percentage of 88.83% classified as high. The ability of mathematical literacy in reasoning has an average percentage of 53.33% classified as moderate. The ability of mathematical literacy to solve problems with an average percentage of 7.13% is classified as very low. Based on this research, teachers are expected to insert PISA questions in learning, aiming to make students accustomed to solving these problems.
