The two sets of questionnaires-one for the students and the other for staff were used to elicit information from the respondents. The responses were tested at 0.05 level of significance using chi-square statistics. The study revealed that the accreditation exercise had no impact on administrative structure (X 2 c = 70.30, X 2 t = 12.59, df = 6, p<0.05) and efficiency of university staff (X 2 c = 35.55; X 2 t = 24.99; df = 15; p<0.05). Based on the findings of this study, recommendations were made.
