Abstract

Paracaecilius anareolatus sp. n. (Caeciliusidae: Paracaeciliinae) is described and illustrated (female only). Due to the absence of the cubital loop in the forewing, delimiting the areola postica in the typical Caeciliusidae venation, this species resembles the distantly related genus Pericaecilius Mockford (Caeciliusidae: Caeciliusinae). These are the only caeciliusids lacking the areola postica. Kaindipsocus splendidus sp. n. (Psocidae: Amphigerontiinae: Kaindipsocini) is described and illustrated (both sexes). It is the first Oriental representative of this otherwise Australian genus (Australia, New Guinea). A detailed morphological analysis supports the recently published molecular-based but tentative assignment of Kaindipsocus to the monotypic tribe Kaindipsocini within the subfamily Amphigerontiinae.
