Full-scale tests on steel frames under cyclic loading

Abstract

An experimental investigation on full-scale frames aimed at determining the effect of flexibly in the beam-column connections with cycling loading is described. The paper presents an overview of the experimental set-up and briefly explains how the complexities arising from the three-dimensional nature of the tests were addressed. The quality of the collected experimental data has justified the effect, which was expended in addressing the experimental complexities. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
