The Cirebon language is spoken in some variations in Babakan Village, Ciwaringin District, and Cirebon Regency. The language variety is due to the area's community being divided into Islamic and non-Islamic boarding school communities. This study uses a dialectological method to investigate how linguistic variants manifest in the region. The distribution of Cirebon lexical variants can be seen using a dialectological method. Aside from that, this approach has the advantage of determining the mapping and distribution of lexical variants scattered throughout Babakan Village, Ciwaringin District. This study is both qualitative and descriptive. The involved conversation observation (SBLC) techniques and interviews were utilized to obtain data. The comparison-matching technique (HBS), the contrasting-comparing technique (HBB), and the comparison-equalizing technique of the main point (HBSP) were used in analyzing data. The findings of this study show three variations of the Cirebon language used by Islamic and non-Islamic boarding schools in the research area, i.e., dialect variations, lexicon variations, and speech variations.
