Abstract

Alibaba group and Jingdong group are two outstanding representatives of e-commerce providers in China. But their business modes are completely different. And the outside evaluations are sometimes completely different. After theory research, this article believes that the future of B2C platform business is user-centric, digital-driven, omni-channel service platform. Then by using comparison method and case study, we concludes that the most important factors for a successful E-business service platform in China is not technology, but high-qualified products and services and employees’ welfare and benefits.
