Abstract

The saying ‘size matters’ is the basis of the revolutionary technology that has taken this decade by storm. Nano-sized particles, on account of their small size, show many interest- ing, and hitherto unseen and unknown, proper- ties, like self-recognition at zero energy expenditure. As a result, they can be called ‘in- telligent’ molecules.
