Abstract

The video gaming industry is flourishing with billions of participants worldwide and has surpassed both the music and movie industry in revenue. An activity as ubiquitous as this brings with it the risk of injury, in particular orthopedic injury. Acute fractures and dislocations from video gaming have been reported, as well as overuse injuries such as wrist tendonitis.
