The interest of this research is intended to advance the understanding of the effect of teachers' behavior on students' performance and satisfaction. Thus, investigation focuses on orientation and burnout / engagement of the teacher, and the effects that such orientation has on students' performance. With a sample of 45 teachers and 932 students, and the use of SME and HLM, the results show that teachers' market orientation has an effect on perceived learning and student satisfaction. Also there are other interesting results that lead to certain conclusions and implications.
