Abstract

In this probes, the cryogens, usually liquid nitrogen (LN), circulate within and then escape through a back vent. Their tips are placed in contact with the condition to be treated; such tips come in a vast array of shapes to be matched to the type and profile of lesions to be pressed upon or just contacted.
