Abstract

Group music recommendation aims to find songs that could potentially please everyone (or most persons) who is present at a particular place. Although there are many situations, such as carpooling and parties, where more than one person listen to the same music together at the same time and place, there have been relatively few works to recommend songs that are appropriate to play in such situations. In this chapter, we describe some attempts, including ours, to develop a system that recommends songs for a group of persons.
