Abstract

A 50-year-old female with a normal heart presents with a wide complex tachycardia (Fig. 19.1). The patient is taken to the electrophysiology (EP) lab (Fig. 19.2). What clues to the diagnosis are present in the electrocardiogram (ECG)? Is this supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) or ventricular tachycardia (VT)? What is the mechanism of the tachycardia? © Springer-Verlag London Limited 2011.
