In this paper, a new blind channel estimation method for Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems is presented. The proposed method is based on the Amplitude-Phase constraints (APC) of channel frequency response (CFR), and the finite alphabet property of information symbols. Unlike existing statistical blind channel estimators, the proposed method requires short data records especially for PSK modulation. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2012.
