Abstract

We live in the perennial gravity of all the matter and energy of the Universe. All physical processes, dynamics, and the progress of time are universally affected by the enormous gravity of the Universe. But we were not aware of the extent and the amount of the cosmic matter when our fundamental theories were constructed and completed. Therefore, in current physical theories, all the important cosmic gravitational effects are either missed or misinterpreted, and attributed to incorrect reasons or left as postulates. Only a quantitative awareness about our vast Universe and its gravity, based on modern observational cosmology, can remedy this unsatisfactory situation and put the physics of dynamics and relativity on its true foundations. This chapter reviews the gravitational properties of the real ‘once given’ Universe.
