Abstract

The article discusses the U.S. failure to adhere to its domestic laws and to international conventions and customs regarding the humane treatment of immigrant children, as of June 2016. Topics discussed include ratification of the Convention of the Rights of the Child; immigration issues surrounding unaccompanied immigrant children; and comparative analysis between the U.S. immigration policies with those of Sweden and Great Britain.
