Abstract

The article presents a study which examined the dimensions and factors surrounding Internet addiction. It discusses the impact of the Internet on communication, the relationship between Internet use and addiction, as well as the place of Internet addiction within the framework of psychiatric conditions. The application of the uses and gratification theory (U&G) to this study is considered.
