Abstract

Studies on digital technology have become increasingly important for restructuring education both in the world and in Turkey. The rapid increase studies concerning digital technology in the field of preschool education in recent years reveal the need for a systematic review study that will guide future studies by evaluating the current situation of digital technology studies in Turkey. Within the scope of the research, the studies to be included in the systematic review were examined with the determined keywords between 2017-2022 and determined by examining based on the inclusion-exclusion criteria. 136 studies were included in the research and examined based on publication dates, research method, participant type, analysis method used and the subject of the study. The data were analysed by content analysis. The results showed that studies on digital technology in the preschool period have increased in recent years, content analysis is used more in parallel with the qualitative research method, documents are frequently reviewed, and that the most frequently discussed subject is the use of technology in education.
